This Privacy Policy applies to the Buflay Boutique mobile application ("the App", "Buflay") published by Henry Griffin ("we", "us"). It explains what information the App handles, where that information lives, and what choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

Applies to all versions of Buflay Boutique on iOS and Android.

Tag 02What information the App handles

Buflay Boutique is a personal diary. Everything in it is content you type in yourself:

  • Stores – names, details and a log of your visits.
  • Finds – garments you spot, with price, size, colour, category, occasion and notes.
  • Wishlist – items you plan to buy.
  • Purchase history – what you bought, when, and its category.
  • Budgets – monthly spending limits you set and the remaining balance the App calculates.
  • Outfits – combinations you assemble from your finds.

The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment details, precise location, contacts or photos library in order to function. It has no login and creates no account.

All fields are optional. Enter as little or as much as you like.

Tag 03Where your data lives

All diary data is stored locally in the App's private storage on your device. We do not operate a server that receives, mirrors or backs up your data, and we cannot see, recover or restore it.

If you have enabled a device-level backup (for example iCloud Backup or Android Backup), your operating system may include the App's storage in that backup. Those backups are governed by Apple's or Google's privacy terms, not by us, and we have no access to them.

Uninstalling the App deletes its local storage.

Tag 04What we do not collect

We want to be precise about this because many apps in this category do the opposite. Buflay Boutique does not:

  • send your finds, purchases, budgets or any diary content to us or anyone else;
  • include advertising networks, attribution SDKs or analytics trackers;
  • build a profile of your shopping habits;
  • track your location or read your device identifiers for marketing;
  • sell, rent or trade any information.

The only way information about you reaches us is if you choose to email us for support (see Tag 06).

No network connection is required to use the App.

Tag 05App store and operating-system data

When you download or update the App, Apple or Google may process information such as your device model, OS version, country and crash reports according to their own policies. Where a platform shares aggregated, anonymised crash or install statistics with developers, we may see those figures. They contain no diary content and cannot identify you to us.

You can manage crash-report and analytics sharing in your device's privacy settings.

Tag 06If you contact us

If you write to henry.griffin38@gmail.com, we will receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use that information only to reply and to fix the issue you raise. We keep support emails for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the matter and for our records, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Please do not include payment details or passwords in support emails.

Tag 07Your control and deletion

Because everything is on your device, you are always in control:

  • Edit or delete any store, find, wishlist item, purchase, budget or outfit inside the App.
  • Reset data from the App's settings to wipe the diary completely.
  • Uninstall the App to remove its storage from your device.

We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on request; however, you may still email us with any privacy question and we will help.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone by us.

Tag 08Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Since the App collects nothing from any user, this remains true in practice. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Parents may reset or uninstall the App at any time.

Tag 09Security

Your data is protected by your device's own security: the App's storage is sandboxed by the operating system and, on modern devices, encrypted at rest when your device is locked with a passcode. We recommend using a device passcode or biometric lock. We cannot protect data that leaves the device through your own backups or screenshots.

No transmission means no interception in transit.

Tag 10Changes to this policy

If we ever add a feature that changes how data is handled (for example an optional cloud sync), we will update this policy first, change the effective date at the top, and describe the new behaviour clearly inside the App before it is enabled. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
